Apr 30 – Thinking of starting cardiovascular training? If you’re not in shape, be sure to start slowly and allow plenty of recovery time. Dr. Simms offers these and other tips to help you get started and stay healthy. 
Apr 30 – Fortunately, most of us can get out for a walk during this Coronavirus shutdown. Dr. Colby offers tips to maximize the benefit of your walk by increasing your body movement from 50% to 90%.
Apr 30 - Lower back issues?  Tightness? Flare-ups and sciatica?  Could be a change from office to home ergonomics.  Dr. Simms offers insight to the role your hip flexors play.  Dr. Simms offers simple stretches you can do at home to prevent and relieve related lower back issues.

Apr 13 - One of the most important muscles to maintain a healthy spine is your abdominal muscles.  Dr. Simms offers tips on quick and easy exercises you can do from home to strengthen your core, taking some of the load off your back.
Apr 10 - Are you working from home?  Maybe with a chair and computer screen that isn't ergonomically correct?  Are you slouching or cocking your neck to see your screen?  Too much of this will cause slow injury to your neck and back, causing pain directly and indirectly (e.g. headaches, carpel tunnel).  This video by Dr. Simms offers simple tips to help you maintain better posture and avoid slow and crippling injuries that can sneak up on you.

Take frequent short breaks from sitting, to restore energy and prevent pain and strain.  Dr. Simms suggests three simple sweat-free exercises and a 45-second stretch to open your body up and get your neck and shoulders back in the right position.
